Rules in a Hosp Mental Unit
Here are the following things u can expect if I are in a hosp mental unit. 1) they have a landline in the locked unit I’m on but phone calls are only allowed between 9am and 9pm. They unhook the phone before and after. Long distance calls are not permitted unless you have your own calling cars. So if u have relatives or friends overseas you may have problems calling them. 2) there are no food deliveries between 9pm and 9am 3) if the drs let u have off unit privileges you can only go off unit between the hours of 8am and 9pm. But u also must stay on the unit during their shift change 2:45pm-3:45pm. When u do go u must sign out. 4) there is one tv on the whole unit and ppl have to share but they shut it at around 8pm or 9pm 5) there is a fridge and small sink by it but no microwave 6) they have a washing machine and dryer for ur use. However you can only use it during certain hours
